In February 2020 I headed to Ricky Gervais’ North London office to record him in conversation with a visiting Conan O’Brien for Conan’s interview podcast; ‘Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend’. Conan was in the UK delivering an Oxford Union address, and wanted to record an episode of his podcast with Ricky while he was in the country.

So, I set up my mics on Ricky’s desk, & recorded their discussion before sending it over to Conan’s office for editing & release, which you can hear below.
